Kid Country values collaboration with local organizations and visiting partners that enrich early learning and strengthen family engagement.
Local Library Collaboration
We collaborate with the Twin Bridges Public Library to promote early literacy and foster a love of books and storytelling. We enjoy regular visits during our walking field trips, and we encourage participation in the Summer Reading Program.
Guest Visits & Educational Partners
Our program invites guest visits from organizations such as Montana PBS and Public Health, providing children with age-appropriate learning experiences and connecting families with community resources. These partnerships expand the horizons of children and families, creating opportunities for connection, education, and shared experiences that help counteract the isolation often found in rural areas.
Growing Something Together
There’s a growing energy across our region right now, marked by interest in outdoor learning, growing food, and giving kids more opportunities to experience the process firsthand. As ideas begin to connect, we’re starting to think through what that could look like at Kid Country and what it would take in terms of space, materials, and community support to do it well. It’s early, but we’re excited about where it could go. Stay tuned to learn how you can be part of it.
